ETREK on Youth Ministry

Just read through your blog for the first time and wanted to say that I appreciate your candidness. So often people that are leaders put up fences and guard themselves. I appreciate your openness. I've bookmarked your blog and look forward to reading it more in the future.

I graduated from Biblical Theological Seminary in 2002...got a M.A. in Counseling so I could be an effective female youth worker. We didn't really have many youth ministry classes back then or a lot of focus on emergence, though Dr. Franke and a few other professors mentioned it in classes.I think it's great that you're involved with Biblical and wish I could have taken those classes when I was there. Before you tell me that I still can, I wish I could only afford it.
