and it works superbly. i've been using it for the last few weeks. it is smoother than the AIM network. at least it seems to be. i get kicked off way less...

Part of Google's deal to buy a portion of AOL a couple weeks ago was to make the IM networks work together. So, expect to be able to chat between AIM and Google Talk accounts in the not so distant future.
I'd be a Mac snob if I could, but alas! Hope all is well for you.
